Not happy with app

Im very dissatisfied with the format by the WGAL app. Difficult to navigate or find information/ stories quickly. I start off looking at a local story and then suddenly thrust into national news. Have to backtrack to get back to local.
Also on breaking news I get an alert but once I swipe it and get to the WGAL app it doesnt take me to the breaking news story.
