While this app may be useful in some ways, the push notifications are pointless. I only seem to receive notifications that dont apply to me and are not in my area. How bout figuring out a way to alert me to things that affect me. For now Im turning push notifications off.

I found it annoying that the display wont rotate, but I could live with that. The ads, however, make it essentially useless. Showing me the same ad every time I go to a new story does not incline me to buy that product. It so disrupts the experience that I give up and get the news and weather from other sources. Add to that all the ads embedded in the text, and the alert badges that dont lead to whatever the alert was about. Ill only use it in an emergency. Fortunately other media outlets arent so greedy.

New app not user friendly. Too jumbled and confusing. Older style was much better.

Horrible app! Nothing but video clips...only after 30 second ads and/or ads for themselves. The push notifications are usually a few hours AFTER all other news outlets.

Far too many ads that are too long. Makes me not use the site. The ads make me want to NOT buy their products!

Im very dissatisfied with the format by the WGAL app. Difficult to navigate or find information/ stories quickly. I start off looking at a local story and then suddenly thrust into national news. Have to backtrack to get back to local. Also on breaking news I get an alert but once I swipe it and get to the WGAL app it doesnt take me to the breaking news story.

Less ads. Same ad over and over again.

Use it all the time because my satellite provider does not provide WGAL

It would be great if you would show the dew point in your weather section

I am disappointed in this app. I go on thinking I am getting the most up to date news and it is the same as the day before.

I can never successfully read a story or watch a video on their site - iPhone app. Always freezing up or disappearing article/ video.

Lackluster. Maybe its an east coast NBC thing on the apps, but find them all to not function as other station apps.

the app is awful and worse than the previous one. Who designed this? It is terrible. They certainly did not ask the viewers for input.

This app is horrible!!! Do not like all the videos, I want the choice to either read the article or watch a video. The articles are not updated enough. The stories are the same for days. Now half the time if you want to watch a video, it doesnt play. Please fix these issues.

News updates are not timely resulting in repeated headlines for days sometimes up to a week.

Very pleased with app, No glitches pure perfection..

The layout of the new app is not intuitive. The old app was organized in a more user friendly way. I dont like that everything is in a video format. I want to be able to read the news stories, not watch a video for each item. I feel that the old app was much easier to navigate.

Alert! Accident closes road in Lancaster County.....??? why would you not say something like - accident closes route 23 near New Holland. Wake up WGAL Im driving and I wont open your App. but you purposely do this so people use the App. Its all about the clicks. Second- the advertising is maddening and I refuse to patronize any advertiser on this App. Last - if you are going to send alerts send things that are truly newsworthy.

No sense of meaningful notifications just fire off any old thing. Very amateurish for a long standing media Titan (at least locally). Be sure you turn off notifications unless you enjoy frustration.
