Latest update. Ads dont play at all and videos dont play. Screen remains black. Issue happens on LTE and WIFI.

I will probably delete this app, and choose a different, local channel. It always opens to an ad, which is nothing but a black screen, that stops playing, or consistently skips. This tick can last several seconds or several minutes. WGAL needs serious IT help if theyre going to keep this app.

Horrible that you are forced to watch LONG advertisement before every video you watch!

Rarely do videos play through the app. In addition navigation is not user friendly. When you click on notifications to go into the app it rarely opens up the correct story. What a worthless app!

The key to a good app would be making sure your videos play within your app. Its 2016 people - we can do better.

I prefer to read or watch the news. This app only has video.

The most recent updates are terrible for readability. Why put the text weather in white on a tan semi-transparent background with an image behind it? I cant read it. Design to WebAIM standards and check for proper contrast.

In the closings page when I touch the name of the school that I want information on the one that opens is 2-3 lines above, today it took 3 attempts to get the correct one to open. Maybe Hurst should focus on quality instead of deals with distribution providers! Thanks for motivating me to checkout the other available local channels that will provide the same information.

It really seems to be just a portal to video links. All of which have adds which of course load up but the videos often just buffer. I use this for alerts but that is only thing it is good for unless you want to watch commercials.

Way too many videos. I need to read stories not watch. If I wanted to watch I would be in front of a tv. I use the app and nothing worse then sitting in the lunchroom at work or in the waiting room of a doctors office and everyone has to listen to my video. Also too many alerts about things that we dont need to know immediately. Dont care about jury verdicts outside Susq valley.

The worst app I have encountered. Old app was much better. I dont even look at it anymore. News are half assed stories. Cant t read comments or complete story not that they report the whole story. Useless app.

Ever since Hearst name used SO much, app is full of brkn links, Stffer meat sale ads. In Doc. office, vlum almost down, U def. can hear the latest school lckdwn ALERT, 2" RAIN TOMORROW ALERT

Between the poor layout of the new upgrade, lack of text stories and the ads on the videos, i am deleting the app and going to try Lancaster online. Also, the alerts seem to be about subjects that are not of interest. Bring back the previous version and I will return.

The on demand video feed is very inconsistent and rarely works

Good app but please cut out all the stupid alerts!!! If there is snow on the ground I already figure the roads are going to be slippery!! Why bother telling me something we should already know esp, after most of us have already driven on the roads! Why do you bother sending news alerts about your top stories that arent breaking news, most of the people with this app have already watched the story on your morning news way before 7! Please add a two tier alert setting in your app settings. One setting for urgent and breaking news and another setting for all alerts including your ones for people who cant think for themselves about road conditions and hour to hour non-dangerous storm forecast.

Not user friendly Would like previous versions as you can read the entire story Too many ads before story Too many times the same alert happens within minutes apart. Becomes a driving distraction. Great to see an alert on weather or traffic but seriously need to limit per hour Story is 2 liner them video, send the entire story and let me determine if I want to watch the video

Permanently locked in landscape and ALWAYS crashes when video attempts to play. Its a waste of space.

Frustrating to receive an alert and to not have the story on app.

Just installed. Havent viewed it yet. It is great. Very handy to just use the app Instead of the TV.
